OTTAWA – MP Marc Dalton presented a petition from constituents concerned that Bill C-9 as drafted could be used to criminalize passages of the Bible, the Torah, and Qur’an and other sacred texts. MP Dalton has consistently expressed his opposition to Bill C-9 as drafted, citing concerns about censorship of scriptures.
